Video: Diggy Simmons Intervew w/ ILLRoots
The average teenager is said to spend all their time playing video games, flirting with girls, sitting in class and eating junk food. With the release of his highly anticipated mixtape Airborne, the extremely talented Diggy Simmons is attempting to break that stereotype. We’ve been involved in his rap career since day one, and can co-sign his ambition and organic grind one hundred and ten percent. His fashion sense is unmatchable for his age and his humble attitude really shows that this kid is in it for more than just the fame. We chopped it up with Diggy at a New York recording studio on what separates him from other young artists, how the internet has helped his career, what’s different about his day to day life and other topics that shape who he really is. If one thing’s guaranteed, it’s that Diggy is an artist that you can’t ignore and will have a bright future ahead of him. - illroots

Diggy Simmons – “Airborne” (Mixtape Review)
K1ng Eljay is back with another mixtape review. This time he writes about Diggy's latest tape "AirBorne." A splendid read as usual, King Elijay touches on the good, the bad, and the "bottom line." It’s bad for me to compare two completely different artists, but for some reason that was the only thing I could think about.
And, fortunately for Diggy, I was right. This wasn’t an easy feat either, considering XV’s mixtape was pretty solid all-around.
“Airborne” is the second official mixtape/project we’ve gotten from Diggy in the last year, and it keeps up with more of the same formula for the most part, with the main difference being Diggy’s diversity in his lyrics. In short, he’s grown lyrically in that short amount of time.
That’s a PROBLEM for up-and-coming artists. A big problem... Read More
