Diggy Simmons – “Airborne” (Mixtape Review)

                            K1ng Eljay is back with another mixtape review. This time he writes about Diggy's latest tape "AirBorne." A splendid read as usual, King Elijay touches on the good, the bad, and the "bottom line."

 To be completely honest, when I first heard XV’s “Vizzy Zone” mixtape, I viewed it as a squandered opportunity for one reason, and one reason only: I figured Diggy Simmons’ mixtape was probably going to be better. It’s bad for me to compare two completely different artists, but for some reason that was the only thing I could think about.
And, fortunately for Diggy, I was right. This wasn’t an easy feat either, considering XV’s mixtape was pretty solid all-around.
“Airborne” is the second official mixtape/project we’ve gotten from Diggy in the last year, and it keeps up with more of the same formula for the most part, with the main difference being Diggy’s diversity in his lyrics. In short, he’s grown lyrically in that short amount of time.
