I'm going to go with Blu on this one. Those last few bars on the song were sick! "Fuck jewels, my soul glows bright enough! Fuck whips I learn more when I ride the bus... and fuck hoes cuz in the end I need a wife to love!"
WOW this a good one. These are probably my top two songs of all time. I agree with previous comments, Lu touches on a wide variety of social problems, while Blu's cut is more personal. WOW I don't even know...I don't wanna call a tie, so I'll pick Lupe. Because although Hurt Me Soul does go more broad, there is also a touch of individuality and it is kind of personal in the first verse. Lupe by half a hair.
BOTH Classics in my opinion. For some reason i FEEL Blu more than Lupe maybe cuz Lupe is tlaking about the world and not just only him personally but Blu talks about his life and many of us can relate to most of it. Lupe addresses some serious shit tho and it all mixes in so idk too hard to choose...
